Responsibilities

  • Assist in Aircraft Movement Coordination: Aid in directing aircraft to and from gates, taxiways, and runways, ensuring compliance with air traffic control instructions.
  • Help monitor aircraft positions, communicate effectively with pilots and ground crew, and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Ensure all ground support equipment (GSE) is in good working condition by assisting in coordinating regular maintenance schedules.
  • Help manage the availability of GSE, such as tugs, baggage carts, and refuelling trucks, to support aircraft operations.
  • Contribute to Compliance with Safety Regulations: Assist in conducting regular safety audits, implementing safety protocols, and providing training to staff on safety procedures.
  • Help monitor airside activities to identify potential hazards and take corrective actions promptly.
  • Aid in Emergency Response Coordination: Assist in developing and implementing emergency response plans, conducting drills, and ensuring effective communication with emergency services.
  • Help oversee evacuation procedures and provide support to affected individuals during emergencies.
  • Assist in Runway and Taxiway Maintenance: Aid in coordinating routine inspections, scheduling repairs, and managing the removal of debris or hazards from runways and taxiways.
  • Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure all surfaces are well-maintained and meet safety standards.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field

Job Purpose: Team Member - Airside Operations is responsible for aiding in coordinating and supporting airside activities to ensure safe and efficient operations.
