Job summary

Continental Surface Solutions India Pvt Ltd is seeking a manufacturing operator to assist in machine adjustment, operation, and supervision according to TSOP and factory instructions. You will set up machines, conduct quality controls, and report deviations to supervisors.

The role involves monitoring machine state, addressing technical errors, and ensuring safe operations with proper documentation and material handling. Lean training and polymer process knowledge are considered a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more in a similar automotive/chemical role.
• Lean Production knowledge (5S, PDCA).
• Polymer process knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with adjustment, operation and supervision of machines according to regulations and work instructions.
• Set up machines according to the setup plan.
• Perform quality controls and report deviations to supervisor.
• Monitor technical state and ensure machine flawless function.
• Handle technical errors and report actions to supervisor.
• Check safety installations and segregate defective material.
• Record manufacturing and testing documentation accurately.
• Conduct optical defect inspection and mark defect locations.
• Manage resources and materials (subassemblies, tools, residues, etc.).
• Provide timely supply and disposal of tools and materials as needed.
• Comply with procedures in the function manual and IMS.

Job Description

• Assistance with adjustment, operation and supervision of machines according to regulations (factory data collection (FDC or TSOP), work instruction), under consideration of qualitative and punctual completion of order
• Sets up the machine according to setting-up plan of machine
• Quality controls according to TSOP, in case of deviation report to superior
• Supervision of technical state and flawless function of machine
• Commission of actions in case of technical errors and report to superior
• Checks the safety installations, Separates material with failures
• Performs and ensures the quality controls according to inspection plan and regulations
• Performs and ensures the proper recording of manufacturing and testing documentation
• Perform sand ensures the optical control on defects of the product including. marking their position
• Separation of defective product
• Professional dealing with resources, auxiliary, residual and operating materials
• Supply and disposal of subassembly, pre-product, resources, auxiliary, residual and operating materials
• Supply of tools in time
• Compliance and seizure of procedures defined in function manual resp. IMS

Additional Information

1 years above working experience in a similar role within automotive industry or chemical industry.

Know about the Lean Production, 5S, PDCA.

Knowledge in polymer process as a plus.
