Job summary

Smith+Nephew in Pune, India is seeking a Team Manager, Rebate CoE to lead and coordinate a rebates accounting team. You will drive process compliance, ensure SLA/KPI delivery, and push for operational excellence across rebate systems.

The role requires CA/CMA qualification with 5–8 years in finance, strong SAP PR1 experience, and a proven track record in team leadership and cross-functional collaboration. Hybrid work arrangement and education benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA/ CMA or partly qualified CA / CMA may be considered depending on performance and experience.
• Experience in Finance domain (International Environment can be an asset).
• Team Leading experience for at least 3 years.
• Experience in SAP PR1 is a must.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team and ensure performance, SLA, E2E and KPI targets are met.
• Act as escalation point and ensure accuracy and completeness of team results.
• Manage project related results for self and team; report status and flag risks to Senior Manager Rebates.
• Back up Senior Manager Rebates; manage staff planning and performance.

Location: Pune, India

Are you interested in Rebates accounting ? Then this is the role you should apply. We're recruiting for a Team Manager, Rebate CoE to work with & provide leadership to existing team & manage operation for rebate systems and processes.

We're looking for experts who have developed and led successful teams. The role will mean driving compliance with processes and procedures all the while pushing the team to be solution orientated. It will be about driving operational standards within team and improve performance against relevant metrics and business objectives.

What will you be doing?

Leadership:

• Will lead a team and will be responsible for their performance and ensure SLA’s, E2E and KPI are met.
• Acting as an escalation point and ensure accuracy and completeness of team result’s
• Working in project related results for self & team Report status and flag any potential risks to Senior Manager Rebates
• Be a Backup to Sr Manager Rebates Manage staff planning and performance management for team.

Operation:

• Quality check for rebate accruals Customer clearing in ERP!
• Responsible for high quality, timely reporting for any ad-hoc analysis and decision support to the business
• Manage the requests from external and internal customers and other advisors
• Maintain SOPs to meet S&N standard cycles.
• Highlight and challenge exceptions from global standards
• Operate a Continuous Improvement culture!
• Make suggestions for the future use of new tools and technology in the Rebate domain
• Should be able to highlight improvement opportunities in existing process and driving process improvement and standardization.
• Multiple stakeholder management.

What will you need to be Successful?

• Education: Qualified CA/ CMA or partly qualified CA / CMA may be considered depending on performance and experience .
• Experience: should have min 5-8 years’ of relevant experience in Finance domain (International Environment can be an asset).
• Team Leading experience for at least 3 years.
• Experience in SAP PR1 is a must.
• Team-player with ability to establish relationships and influence team members and wider partners.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally to maintain good relationships with both internal and external customers.
• Any previous project management exposure would be a benefit.
