Job summary

Hero MotoCorp Ltd. seeks a Team Manager - MQA (Battery Pack Assembly Lab) to lead the QA lab operations, ensure product and process quality, and drive continuous improvement.

You will oversee MIS, issue closures, and audits while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support new model development and timely approvals. The role requires 4+ years in EV battery pack QA/Design, familiarity with BMS, FAME/ARAI testing, and strong analytical and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Manufacturing Quality/Design in EV Traction Battery Pack sectors.
• Targeted companies include TVS, Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors, etc.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality assurance through the battery pack assembly lab.
• Manage MIS/report generation and drive issue/deviation closures.
• Ensure quality sustenance and improvement of processes.
• Conduct process and product audits; warranty analysis.
• Support new model development with timely approvals.
• Benchmark best practices for horizontal deployment.

Team Manager - MQA (Battery Pack Assembly & Lab)

As the Team Manager - MQA (Battery Pack Assembly Lab) you will be part of the Plant Operations function and Mfg. QA department and will report to the Section Head - MQA (Battery Pack Assembly). The purpose of your role will be to Oversee & Manage the Battery pack labs with desired quality

A purpose driven role for you

Your key Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Ensure the Process through Quality assurance
• MIS/Report generation
• Ensure closure of issues/deviations
• Ensure Quality Sustenance & Improve Existing Process through
• Process & Product Audit
• Warranty analysis
• Benchmarking of Best Practices to deploy horizontally
• Ensure Product, Process & System approval and establishment for smooth and trouble free development within stipulated time during New Model development.

A Day in the life

Ensure adherence to Quality standards & System of Traction Battery Pack Assy Process by evaluation & improvement of the Product & Process quality at Frame Assy & Final Inspection to ensure overall Customer Satisfaction.

Academic Qualification & Experience

• BE/B.Tech/Diploma In Electrical | Mechanical | Automobile Industry
