Job summary

ADCI MAA 12 SEZ in Chennai region seeks a Team Manager to lead a quality service associates team, plan test execution, and ensure timely delivery. You will monitor daily operations, generate execution reports, and report to stakeholders regularly.

This role involves performance management of reporting associates, hiring participation, and mentoring for career growth within a fast-moving QA environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of people management leading teams of 20+ experience or equivalent problem solving.
• 2+ years of quality assurance engineering experience, or BS degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, information systems or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Excel skills to refine data and prepare business reports.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or experience in written and oral communication across levels in the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team (~ 15+ team members), allocate tasks and manage test execution delivery based on schedule or SLAs.
• Engage with stakeholders (QA teams) for inputs on task planning and delivery schedules with clear status reports.
• Unblock team for challenges requiring cross-team collaboration (peer teams, HR, IT, admin).
• Raise/escalate issues, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Collect, track and present project metrics on quality and team effectiveness.
• Identify process inefficiencies and influence stakeholders to fix them.
• Conduct regular 1-1s and provide performance feedback; mentor career progression.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding of new team members.

Monitor daily floor operations, create execution reports, and communicate to stakeholders on regular basis. Review associates' performance on regular intervals and ensure productivity & quality targets are met. Team Manager will also be responsible for performance management of all the reporting associates.

Basic Qualifications

• Knowledge of machine learning models
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 2+ years of people management leading teams of 20 experience, or experience in problem solving and delivering results
• 2+ years of quality assurance engineering experience, or BS degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, information systems or equivalent
• Knowledge of Excel skills to be able to refine data and prepare business reports
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or experience in written and oral communication, including the ability to communicate with all levels in the organization (technical, business, executive)
• Experience building strategic relationships with stakeholders, including communicating and collaborating across teams and functions
• Experience prioritizing and delivering projects on time in a fast-moving environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing project delivery
• Experience in quality assurance/testing/mobile industry/internet of things (IoT)
• Familiarity with QA/testing concepts (test execution, defect tracking, release validation)
