Job summary

Pfizer seeks an experienced manufacturing leader for on‑site operations in Visakhapatnam, India. You will drive projects, manage teams, and ensure cGMP adherence across upstream and downstream processes.

You will develop Lean improvements, oversee technician performance, and collaborate with senior leadership to meet regulatory standards and business goals. On-site work and strong people leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant pharma manufacturing management experience in regulated operations

• Working knowledge of Upstream/Downstream cGMP manufacturing operations

• Experience with equipment periodic qualification and documentation skills

• Develop and manage a team of process technicians, optimizing facilities and equipment, and leading the implementation of Lean Tools.
• Support the development of SMART Objectives, participate in best practice sharing programs, and manage the performance and training of shift colleagues and contingent staff.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

• High school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of experience or B pharm with 5 years or associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience or BA/BS with 2+ years of experience or MBA/MS with any years of relevant experience
• Strong people management experience in a regulated manufacturing operations environment
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• A working knowledge of Upstream/Downstream Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) manufacturing operations
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and goal-driven environment
• Strong decision-making capability
• Experience with equipment periodic qualification and Documentation skills.

• Relevant pharmaceutical industry experience
• Experience with Lean Tools and their implementation
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to recognize development needs and create opportunities for colleagues
• Experience in maintaining regulatory compliance through established programs
