Job summary

Paytm Payments Services seeks a capable Field Sales Manager to boost QR & Soundbox distribution across assigned regions. You will lead a sales team, drive merchant adoption, and expand market presence through strategic planning and hands-on coaching.

Qualifications

• Graduate or post-graduate degree.
• Experience leading a team in sales or distribution could be preferred.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Grow distribution and market share in the assigned area.
• Increase visibility and drive deployment and sale of QR & Soundbox products.
• Identify and recruit the sales team to meet market objectives.
• Mentor and coach team members for high performance.
• Plan market size, span and geographies for the Field Sales Engineer (FSE).
• Communicate plans and targets clearly to the team to minimize delivery gaps.
• Monitor quality parameters as directed by management.
• Validate and audit acquisitions and sales conducted by the team.
• Ensure team presence in markets where sales and usage occur regularly.
• Be willing to travel extensively across the specified area to reach targets.

About the role

The person should be capable of increasing the sale of QR & Soundbox through proper channels to the merchants across multiple locations.

Expectations/ Requirements

• Grow Distribution and Market share in the assigned area of operations.


• Visibility Accountability through Extensive QR & Sound box deployment and sale of the product.


• Identify and Recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.


• Skilled in coaching and mentoring, a quick learner who grasps and puts into application new learned ideas and concepts.


• Plan the market size, span and geographies for FSE.


• Should be able to devise the best methods for communication of plans/targets to the team so as to minimize the expectations vs delivery gap.


• Monitor the Quality parameters as suggested by the management.


• Validate and conduct the audits on the acquisitions and sales done by the team.


• Ensure the team members are in the market where sales & usage are done regularly


• Should have good networking capabilities and be willing to travel extensively throughout their specified area.
