Job summary

Paytm Payments Services seeks a results-driven Field Sales Leader to grow QR & Soundbox distribution across designated regions. You will expand merchant adoption, recruit and mentor a high-performing team, and execute market plans to outperform targets.

The role requires strong networking skills, willingness to travel, and a track record in scaling sales in fintech or payments ecosystems. Graduate qualification is preferred, with a growth mindset and leadership capability.

Responsibilities

• Grow distribution and market share in the assigned area.
• Drive QR & Soundbox deployment and sales to merchants.
• Identify and recruit the sales team to scale the market.
• Coach and mentor team; translate plans into action.
• Plan market size, span and geographies for Field Sales Executives (FSE).
• Communicate plans/targets to the team to minimize gaps between expectations and delivery.
• Monitor quality parameters as per management guidance.
• Validate and audit acquisitions and sales performed by the team.
• Ensure team presence in markets where sales/usage occur regularly.
• Maintain strong merchant networking and willingness to travel.

About the role

The person should be capable of increasing the sale of QR & Soundbox through proper channels to the merchants across multiple locations.

Expectations/ Requirements

• Grow Distribution and Market share in the assigned area of operations.


• Visibility Accountability through Extensive QR & Sound box deployment and sale of the product.


• Identify and Recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.


• Skilled in coaching and mentoring, a quick learner who grasps and puts into application new learned ideas and concepts.


• Plan the market size, span and geographies for FSE.


• Should be able to devise the best methods for communication of plans/targets to the team so as to minimize the expectations vs delivery gap.


• Monitor the Quality parameters as suggested by the management.


• Validate and conduct the audits on the acquisitions and sales done by the team.


• Ensure the team members are in the market where sales & usage are done regularly


• Should have good networking capabilities and be willing to travel extensively throughout their specified area.
