Job summary

Paytm Payments Services is seeking a field sales leader to drive QR and Soundbox adoption across Bathinda and surrounding regions. You will build a capable sales team, deploy effective merchant outreach, and translate market insights into execution that grows revenue.

You will lead and coach the team, plan market coverage, and ensure targets are met while traveling extensively to stay connected with customers and merchants. Graduate/postgraduate candidates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading a sales team to drive distribution and market share.
• Ability to coach and mentor a sales team and translate plans into action.
• Strong planning skills to map market size, geography and targets.
• Excellent communication and networking to build relationships with merchants and channels.

Responsibilities

• Grow distribution and market share in the assigned area.
• Ensure visibility and accountability through deployment and sales of QR and Soundbox.
• Identify and recruit the sales team to drive business in the market.
• Coach and mentor the team; quickly learn and apply new ideas.
• Plan market size, span and geographies for FSE.
• Communicate plans and targets effectively to minimize delivery gaps.
• Monitor quality parameters as directed by management.
• Validate audits on acquisitions and sales by the team.
• Ensure team members operate in markets with regular sales and usage; travel extensively.

About the role

The person should be capable of increasing the sale of QR & Soundbox through proper channels to the merchants across multiple locations.

Expectations/ Requirements

• Grow Distribution and Market share in the assigned area of operations.
• Visibility Accountability through Extensive QR & Sound box deployment and sale of the product.
• Identify and Recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.
• Skilled in coaching and mentoring, a quick learner who grasps and puts into application new learned ideas and concepts.
• Plan the market size, span and geographies for FSE.
• Should be able to devise the best methods for communication of plans/targets to the team so as to minimize the expectations vs delivery gap.
• Monitor the Quality parameters as suggested by the management.
• Validate and conduct the audits on the acquisitions and sales done by the team.
• Ensure the team members are in the market where sales & usage are done regularly 10. Should have good networking capabilities and be willing to travel extensively throughout their specified area.
