Job summary

Paytm Payments Services in India seeks a results-driven Field Sales Executive to grow the QR and Soundbox business with merchants across multiple locations. You will lead and mentor a sales team, expand distribution, and drive market share while planning coverage and travel across the assigned territory.

The role requires a Graduate or Post Graduate with strong networking, coaching ability, and willingness to travel. This is a field-based position aligned with Paytm's merchant growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Grow distribution and market share in the assigned area.
• Drive QR & Sound box deployment and sales to merchants across locations.
• Identify and recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.
• Coach and mentor the team; quickly learn and apply new ideas.
• Plan the market size, span and geographies for the field sales executive (FSE).
• Communicate plans and targets clearly to the team to minimize gaps between expectations and delivery.
• Monitor quality parameters as directed by management.
• Validate and audits on acquisitions and sales done by the team.
• Ensure the team operates in markets where sales and usage occur regularly.
• Travel extensively across the specified area to cover merchants.

About the role:

The person should be capable of increasing the sale of QR & Soundbox through proper channels to the merchants across multiple locations.

Expectations/Requirements:

• Grow Distribution and Market share in the assigned area of operations.
• Visibility Accountability through Extensive QR & Sound box deployment and sale of the product.
• Identify and Recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.
• Skilled in coaching and mentoring, a quick learner who grasps and puts into application new learned ideas and concepts.
• Plan the market size, span and geographies for FSE.
• Should be able to devise the best methods for communication of plans/targets to the team so as to minimize the expectations vs delivery gap.
• Monitor the Quality parameters as suggested by the management.
• Validate and conduct the audits on the acquisitions and sales done by the team.
• Ensure the team members are in the market where sales & usage are done regularly.
• Should have good networking capabilities and be willing to travel extensively throughout their specified area.
