Job summary

Paytm Payments Services in Karnataka is seeking a sales leader to drive QR & Soundbox adoption among merchants across Belagavi district and nearby towns.

You will grow distribution, recruit and mentor a field sales team, plan market coverage, and ensure targets are met through effective communication and field presence. Travel will be extensive.

Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate degree as stated.
• Experience in leading a sales team is preferred.
• Strong coaching and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Grow distribution and market share in the assigned area.
• Visibility accountability through QR & Soundbox deployment and sale of the product.
• Identify and recruit the sales team to drive business in the market.
• Coach and mentor the sales team, a quick learner who applies new ideas.
• Plan the market size, span and geographies for FSE.
• Communicate plans/targets to the team to minimize delivery gaps.
• Monitor quality parameters as directed by management.
• Validate and audit acquisitions and sales by the team.
• Ensure team presence in markets where sales & usage occur.
• Travel extensively throughout the specified area.

About the team:

Dairy verticals include digital payment enablement at all Dairy outlets and its ecosystem, and other retail business. This team is predominantly responsible for handling end-to-end sales and operations of this category.

About the role:

The person should be capable of increasing the sale of QR & Soundbox through proper channels to the merchants across multiple locations.

Expectations / Requirements:

• Grow Distribution and Market share in the assigned area of operations.
• Visibility Accountability through Extensive QR & Sound box deployment and sale of the product.
• Identify and Recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.
• Skilled in coaching and mentoring, a quick learner who grasps and puts into application new learned ideas and concepts.
• Plan the market size, span and geographies for FSE.
• Should be able to devise the best methods for communication of plans/targets to the team so as to minimize the expectations vs delivery gap.
• Monitor the Quality parameters as suggested by the management.
• Validate and conduct the audits on the acquisitions and sales done by the team.
• Ensure the team members are in the market where sales & usage are done regularly.
• Should have good networking capabilities and be willing to travel extensively throughout their specified area.
