Responsibilities
- Generate sales through tele and connect.
- Prepare strategies to increase F & B sales and group gatherings at Andaz Delhi.
- Understand requirements, send quotations, negotiate if required, and follow up to bring business on board.
- Set weekly and monthly targets and ensure attainment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate decision makers.
- Target individuals and teams for HDC program enrollments.
- Responsible for Corporate and Travel Agent Food & Beverage Sales for the hotel.
- Understand hotel business strategies, set goals, and determine action plans to meet those goals.
- Identify new markets and business opportunities to increase sales.
- Conduct daily sales calls and arrange site inspection trips for corporate clients.
- Provide quick and timely responses and develop professional long-term business relationships.
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers for future bookings.
- Convert resident guests for meals in outlets.
- Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects.
- Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance.
- Research and recommend new opportunities and service improvements.
- Answer queries, offer advice, and introduce new products.
- Maintain guest database.
- Assist in managing the department as an independent profit center.
- Ensure adherence to hotel, company, and local rules, policies, and regulations.
- Embrace new technology and equipment to improve productivity.
People
- Encourage employees to be creative and innovative, recognizing their contributions to the operation's success.
- Support the implementation of The People Philosophy, demonstrating Hyatt’s Values and Culture Characteristics.
- Follow all hotel, company, and local rules, policies, and regulations relating to fire and hazard safety, and security.
Other Duties
- Exercise responsible supervisory behavior and positively represent the hotel team and Hyatt International.
- Adhere to Rules and Regulations established in the Employee Handbook and hotel policies concerning fire, hygiene, health, and safety.
- Maintain high standards of personal presentation and grooming.
- Respond to changes in the Food and Beverage function as dictated by the industry, company, and hotel.
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar position.
- Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
