Job summary

Paytm is India's leading mobile payments company. This role focuses on increasing QR and Soundbox sales through proper channels to merchants across multiple locations, by building a capable field sales team and expanding distribution in the assigned area.

You will plan market size and geographies for FSE, coach the team, monitor quality parameters, audit acquisitions and sales, ensure coverage in active markets, and travel extensively to stay close to merchants and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Grow distribution and market share in the assigned area.
• Drive extensive QR & Soundbox deployment and sales to merchants.

• Coach and mentor the team, quickly learning and applying new concepts.
• Plan market size, span and geographies for FSE.
• Devise the best methods to communicate plans/targets to the team to minimize delivery gaps.
• Monitor quality parameters as directed by management.
• Validate and audit acquisitions and sales by the team.
• Ensure team members operate in markets with active sales & usage.
• Travel extensively to cover designated area.

About the role:

The person should be capable of increasing the sale of QR & Soundbox through proper channels to the merchants across multiple locations.

Expectations/ Requirements:

• Grow Distribution and Market share in the assigned area of operations.


• Visibility Accountability through Extensive QR & Sound box deployment and sale of the product.


• Identify and Recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.


• Skilled in coaching and mentoring, a quick learner who grasps and puts into application new learned ideas and concepts.


• Plan the market size, span and geographies for FSE.


• Should be able to devise the best methods for communication of plans/targets to the team so as to minimize the expectations vs delivery gap.


• Monitor the Quality parameters as suggested by the management.


• Validate and conduct the audits on the acquisitions and sales done by the team.


• Ensure the team members are in the market where sales & usage are done regularly


• Should have good networking capabilities and be willing to travel extensively throughout their specified area.
