Job summary

Datamatics Business Solutions in Mumbai is seeking an experienced accounting and tax professional to manage monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance for international clients. You will prepare financial statements from base records and ensure timely deliveries.

You will mentor the Canada Taxation and Accounting team, coordinate client communications, and oversee day-to-day offshore tax activities, maintaining quality and turnaround time across engagements.

Qualifications

• Experience with Indian or international accounting and tax compliance.
• Experience in month-end closing and financial statement preparation.
• Exposure to Canada/US/UK/Australia personal tax returns.

• Working with international accounting firms to ensure all monthly, quarterly and annual compliance deadlines are met.
• Preparing Financial statements and other reports from base records for different organisations.
• Complying with the daily submission of time sheets, updating workflow systems.
• Performing month-end closing activities for clients.
• Handling client communications and managing all deliveries of each engagement to ensure the Quality and TAT is maintained.
• Exposure to Indian/US/UK/Aus/Canadian personal tax returns/laws.
• Reviewing Canada Individual (T1) tax returns
• Reviewing tax calculations by tax analysts and ensuring feedback is documented.
• Mentoring the Canada Taxation and Accounting team and ensuring high-quality, timely deliverables in the client-facing setup.
• Manage and direct the day-to-day activities of the offshore tax group.
• Responsible for complying with the daily submission of timesheets and updating workflow systems.
• Addressing client feedback/ escalations /concerns on a top-priority basis, preparing RCA & action plan, & submitting to Management for review
• Providing monthly 1:1 feedback to all the team members and preparing an action plan for Bottom performers.
