Job summary

Hitachi ABB Power Grids in India seeks a senior order and project management professional to coordinate with Sales, Operations and SCM for end-to-end handling—from order booking to dispatch. You will manage production scheduling, FAT, invoicing, and SAP invoicing while driving revenue and collections for the region.

The role requires 12–15 years of engineering experience (Electrical preferred) or 15–20 years with a Diploma, plus strong communication, analytical, and leadership abilities to guide

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical preferred) with 12–15 years of experience or Diploma with 15–20 years.
• Experience in project management / order management from switch gear / transformers industry.
• Excellent communications, analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Experience of handling teams of 3–4 people.

Responsibilities

• Customer assistance: resolve issues by coordinating with Sales, Operations, SCM and other teams.
• Customer requests: propose solutions and coordinate to ensure complete handling (production, quotes, invoices).
• Customer relations: inform customers on status and ensure a positive experience.
• Lead end-to-end projects from order booking to dispatch (manufacturing schedules, FAT, invoicing, dispatch).
• Responsible for revenue and collection for the allocated region for self and team.

Job description

1. Customer assistance: Ensures the resolution of customer issues (e.g., order, technical, payment) by coordinating with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain Management, and other internal and/or external teams. Coordinates resolution with After-Sales Service and/or Spare Parts teams.

2. Customer requests: Recommends appropriate solution for customer requests, and coordinates with related teams to ensure the complete handling of the request (e.g. production capability and scheduling, resourcing, quotes, price lists, invoice) is in place.

3. Customer relations: Proactively informs customers about status based on input and clarifies any questions. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the entire process.

4.Responsible for all the projects assigned for self and team – from order booking to dispatch – Including but not limited to. Sales order booking /Drawing approvals / manufacturing schedules / Including FAT / Payment / SAP invoicing/Dispatch.

5. Responsible for Revenue and collection for allocated region for self and team.

Your background

Bachelor’s in engineering (Electrical preferable) with 12-15 years of experience or Diploma with 15-20 years of experience.

Experience in project management / Order management from switch gear / transformers industry.
