Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY INDIA LIMITED is seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager to lead end-to-end customer-facing projects from order booking to dispatch in the Gujarat region.

You will coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain, ensuring on-time delivery, accurate invoicing, and strong customer satisfaction while overseeing a team of 3–4 professionals. Electrical engineers with long-term field experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in engineering (Electrical preferred) with 12–15 years of experience or Diploma with 15–20 years of experience.
• Experience in project management / order management from switchgear/ transformers industry.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Customer assistance: Ensures the resolution of customer issues by coordinating with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain Management, and other internal and/or external teams. Coordinates resolution with After-Sales Service and/or Spare Parts teams.
• Customer requests: Recommends appropriate solution for customer requests, and coordinates with related teams to ensure the complete handling of the request (e.g. production capability and scheduling, resourcing, quotes, price lists, invoice).
• Customer relations: Proactively informs customers about status based on input and clarifies any questions. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the entire process.
• Responsible for all the projects assigned for self and team – from order booking to dispatch – Including but not limited to. Sales order booking /Drawing approvals / manufacturing schedules / Including FAT / Payment / SAP invoicing/Dispatch.
• Responsible for Revenue and collection for allocated region for self and team.
