Job description

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of fullstack developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Technical Expertise: Contribute to the architecture, design, and development of scalable web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.
• Project Coordination: Work closely with project managers, product owners, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements, set timelines, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Cloud Solutions: Knowledge/ understanding about how to design, develop, and deploy cloud-based solutions on AWS or Azure, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Code Quality: Oversee code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and high-quality code delivery.
• Continuous Improvement: Advocate for and implement continuous improvement in development practices, processes, and tools.
• Problem Resolution: Act as the point of escalation for technical issues, providing guidance and hands-on support to the team.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, DevOps, and UX/UI designers, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of features.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in fullstack development, with at least 7 years in a leadership or team lead role.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in frontend technologies: React.js, Angular, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, Next.js.
  • Solid experience with backend technologies: Node.js, Express.js, Python.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or similar.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database management (SQL/NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker).
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring a development team.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering scalable and efficient solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
