Job summary

Data Marshall is seeking a senior medical coder with leadership experience to lead a team in Hyderabad. The role requires deep expertise in medical coding, particularly E/M coding, with preference for OB-GYN or gastro specialties.

The candidate will manage multiple projects, mentor a team of coders, and ensure high-quality, compliant submissions. The position is based in Hyderabad with day shifts and work-from-office mode.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical coding with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of EM Coding; OB-GYN and gastro specialties preferred.
• Exposure to procedural coding and denial management is an added advantage.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects with different specialities.
• Has managed a team size of 20 coders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a coding team across multiple specialties.
• Oversee medical coding quality and accuracy.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure timely submissions and denial management.
• Analyze coding processes and implement improvements.
• Mentor and develop coders to meet performance targets.
• Handle concurrent projects with diverse coding requirements.
