Job Profile / Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure the SAP based systems operate reliably and efficiently in a secure environment. This includes assisting with the configuration and maintenance of High Availability and Disaster Recovery of SAP systems
• SAAS, Cloud and S/4 implementation models
• GRC controller
• Transport Management
• SAP Application Patch & Notes upgrade
• SAProuter setup and OSS configuration, SAP Logon groups
• Database restoration and recovery
• SAP installation/re-installation and configuration
• Planning and managing support packages and kernel patch upgradations, client copies/ transports
• Planning and executing database upgrades
• SDCC monitoring and management, EWA closures
• Maintenance and monitoring of DR standby server
• Configuring/ re-configuring system log / alert thresholds
• Team Lead – guide the basis support personnel technically in all defined areas within SAP BASIS
• Develop, implement, maintain, and improve team procedures, benchmarks, and controls
• Migration and Upgrades of DB, Appl Specific components
• Ensure adherence to standards
• Responsibility for entire Basis operation and internal and external escalations

Other Responsibilities

• Coordination for installations, upgrade and support of all components of the SAP Infrastructure
