Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of accountants, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
• Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and the completeness of financial data.
• Review and approve journal entries for accruals, prepayments, and other adjusting entries during the month-end close process.
• Supervise account reconciliations, including bank accounts, fixed assets, and other balance-sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring the timely preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
• Oversee AP/AR functions, including the review and posting of invoices, processing payments, and reconciling customer and vendor accounts.
• Ensure accurate tracking of fixed asset transactions and depreciation.
• Ensure full compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal controls; assist with tax filings, audits, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the preparation of financial reports and analyses to support management in decision-making.
