Job summary

TP in Ambattur, Chennai invites applications for a Procure to Pay (P2P) Team Lead. The role is to lead and optimize end-to-end P2P activities including invoices, vendor reconciliation, PO management, and payments, while driving process improvements and SLA achievement.

We require a graduate with 1+ year of team lead experience in P2P/Accounts Payable. Proficiency in MS Excel and SAP/Oracle is essential. Night shifts, 5 days a week, with immediate joining preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 1+ year of Team Lead experience on papers in Procure to Pay (P2P), Accounts Payable, or Finance Operations.
• Strong understanding of invoice processing, vendor reconciliation, PO management, and payment cycles.
• Excellent people management, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or similar finance systems.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Procure to Pay (P2P) team to ensure smooth and timely processing of transactions.
• Oversee end-to-end P2P operations, including invoice processing, vendor management, purchase order compliance, and payment processing.
• Monitor team performance and ensure achievement of productivity, quality, and SLA targets.
• Handle escalations, resolve process-related issues, and drive continuous process improvements.
• Conduct regular reviews, team huddles, coaching sessions, and performance feedback discussions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to resolve payment and procurement-related queries.
• Prepare operational reports, track KPIs, and present insights to management.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, controls, and financial regulations.
• Support audits and maintain accurate documentation of all transactions.
