Job summary

Sapiens International Corporation N.V. is seeking an experienced Application Support professional in Bengaluru to sustain Java-based applications and ECM integrations. The role involves post-go-live support, performance tuning, and server management, with exposure to cloud-based microservices.

The ideal candidate has deep Java/J2EE experience, familiarity with BPM engines and enterprise servers, and strong communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Min 8 - 11 years’ experience in supporting Java based applications.
• Experience in ECM systems ( Alfresco, FileNet or Documentum)
• Experience in Supporting web apps on Java and J2EE/Spring MVC stack.
• Experience in managing Application Servers
• Experience in supporting cloud based micro services is added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support Java-based applications post go-live and performance tuning.
• Deployment and troubleshooting of Java-based applications in application servers.
• Drive client calls and support client services in technical needs; compile RCA reports on issues.

Job description

• Min 8 - 11 years’ experience in supporting Java based applications.
• Experience in ECM systems ( Alfresco, FileNet or Documentum)
• Experience in Supporting web apps on Java and J2EE/Spring MVC stack.
• Experiences in managing Application Servers
• Experience in supporting cloud based micro services is added advantage.
• Involved in supporting the solution after go-live and has been involved in performance tuning.
• Knowledge on deployment, troubleshooting of Java based applications in application servers.
• Self-learner and ready to learn other technologies and ready to work in Application support.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Worked in Incident management with ticketing system.
• Knowledge on Devops, Jenkins and AWS Cloud.
• Installation and configuration of Enterprise application servers, enterprise database will be added advantage.
• Drive client calls/communication and support client services in technical needs. Compile technical RCA (root cause analysis) reports on issues.

Preferred skills and knowledge:

• Oracle BPM / IBM BPM or any BPM engine.
• Weblogic / JBoss / WAS or any Application server.
• Experience in Database tuning activities (DB2, Orable, PostGres, MS SQL)Knowledge of Basic Linux commands
• Open for short and long term travel
• Open to learn new technologies etc.
• Work as team, and work long hours if required
