Job summary

Radiance A. B. Lodha Memorial Foundation invites applications for a Full-time in-person role to assist the lead teacher in a Montessori classroom for children aged 3–6 or 6–9.

The candidate will learn pedagogy on the floor, support daily cycles, keep spaces organized, observe children, and help with material preparation and transitions. Strong English, Marathi, and Hindi communication is essential; background in psychology is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English, Marathi and Hindi.
• Background in Psychology (preferred).
• Artistic talents (painting, singing, poetry, music, speech & drama, design) are a huge bonus.
• Skills or interest in designing and creating learning materials.

Responsibilities

• Support the lead teacher through the daily work cycle.
• Help individual children begin, stay with, and complete their work.
• Support the day-to-day running of the classroom.
• Keep the space clean, ordered, and ready each day; repair and prepare materials.
• Observe children daily and keep notes to share with the lead.
• Support practical life and grace and courtesy in everyday moments, including meals, transitions, and care of the space.
• Learn and apply Montessori pedagogy at our learning centre.
