An educational non-profit organization in Mumbai is looking for a Manager of IT Infrastructure. The role involves managing IT hardware and software, overseeing vendors, and ensuring compliance with technology policies. Ideal candidates should have 2-3 years of relevant experience and a degree in Computer Science or related fields. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential. This position supports the organization's mission toward educational equity.
The Manager, IT Infrastructure will be responsible for ensuring each staff member and Fellow has continuous and secure access to IT Infrastructure hardware and enterprise applications for their day-to-day work activities.
Primary responsibilities:
System Management: Manage allocation, maintenance, and up-gradation of hardware and enterprise applications, internet connections, their maintenance, and up-gradation of network equipment in all offices.
Purchase and Vendor Management: Manage the vendors and purchase IT infrastructure hardware and enterprise software as per the purchase process.
Asset Management: Maintain records of all IT assets to plan for maintenance, up-gradation, and future IT investments.
Data Backup and Recovery: Responsible for data backup and recovery of deleted or lost data of users.
Systems’ Audit: Manage systems audit and assess their outcomes.
Implement technology policies: Implement the technology policies approved by the management and train the users about the technology policies.
Software Compliance: Ensure timely renewals of all enterprise software application platforms, that the number of software licenses is adequate for each team, and 100% of devices used in Teach For India have genuine software licenses.

Serve as an ambassador of the Teach For India brand and an advocate for our work and for educational equity in our country through both internal and external communication after commiting time in our classrooms to understand our work more deeply
Support with key organizational areas such as Recruitment, Selection, Fundraising, Volunteering, Movement Building
Minimum Qualifications, Experiences and Expectations
2-3 years working experience as IT Manager / Technology Manager in a small to medium enterprise.
Graduate degree in Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunication is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong understanding of System Administration with problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Mac, Android) and platforms.
Ability to be resourceful, take responsibility and find practical solutions to problems.
Ability to work in a deadline-based environment.
Google/Microsoft certification in IT/System Administration is a plus, but not mandatory.
Experience working with mobile device management tools is a plus, but not mandatory.
