Job summary

EY is hiring a WAM Fund Accounting Business Analyst for the Eagle Platform in Bengaluru. The role involves delivering innovative solutions in wealth/asset management, coordinating with stakeholders, and guiding technical teams to successful implementation.

You will assess client requirements and map them to Eagle capabilities across Pace and STAR. The ideal candidate has 4–9 years in the field, with strong knowledge of asset classes and data architectures, plus advanced Excel/VBA skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–9 years of experience in wealth/asset management
• Experience in middle office, trade lifecycle or portfolio accounting
• Strong understanding of asset classes: fixed income, equity, derivatives

WAM Fund Accounting Business Analyst (Eagle Platform)

Requirements

As a Eagle Business Analyst you will be responsible for managing and delivering innovative solutions to the clients. Therefore, you must be flexible, adaptable and passionate about innovation. You will be responsible for liaising and managing key stakeholders and technical teams to ensure that the solutions are delivered successfully. The successful candidate will have:

• Experience working in Wealth or Asset management Industry in the areas of Middle Office, Trade Lifecycle, Security Reference Data, Portfolio accounting etc
• Strong knowledge on various asset classes such as fixed income, equity, derivatives across front office, middle office and back office for either or both “buy” and “sell” side of business
• Exposure to portfolio management, trade execution, data control and operations and portfolio administration
• Should Posses high-level understanding of data model and application/business architecture around the package
• Good experience understanding client requirements and streamline them appropriately to the team.
• Understand high-level business requirements and relate them to appropriate package capabilities
• Review client processes and workflows and make recommendations to the client to maximise benefits from package.
• Good Leadership skills
• Excellent client-facing skills
• MBA/CA/CFA/MCA/ BE / B.Tech/ equivalent with 4 to 9 year’s experience

Preferred skills

• Techno functional knowledge of Core Wealth / Asset management with good exposure to Eagle Platform (Pace and STAR)
• Experience in managing Eagle Upgrades
• Experience in writing business requirements, user stories on the Eagle Platform (Pace and STAR)
• Technical experience of working on data, understand relational data models, SQL queries
• Experience in any or more of Oracle, MS SQL, DB2 databases. Good data analytics skills
• Advance excel and VBA skills
