Job summary

HITACHI VANTARA INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED in Delhi seeks a GST Accountant to manage compliance and reporting. The role involves preparing and filing GST returns (GSTR 1, 2, 3) across states and ensuring timely remittance of liabilities.

You will reconcile GST payable with the General Ledger, reconcile GST credits in GSTR-2 with GSTR-2A, and ensure accurate input tax credits. You will also follow up with vendors and coordinate with Accounts Payable and procurement to resolve discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and filing of returns across all states (GSTR 1, GSTR 2 and GSTR 3).
• Computation of GST liability and ensuring timely tax remittances.
• Reconciliation of GST payable with General Ledger along with its rectification entries in books in a timely manner.
• Reconciliation of GST credit availed in GSTR2 with GSTR2A.
• Ensure proper claim of input tax credits of GST.
• Following up with vendors and liaising with internal teams (Accounts Payable, procurement, etc.) for resolving discrepancies.
