Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Tax Senior Analyst based in Bengaluru with 5-8 years of experience in statutory reporting and tax compliance. You will align with Finance Operations, collect data, analyze reports, reconcile transactions, and ensure audit-ready financial statements according to client policies and statutory requirements.

You will work with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, and Power BI, and handle Record to Report processes including XBRL tagging and tax packs for REITs where

What would you do?

• You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions.
• The Record to Report team supports accurate period end financial reporting, general ledger integrity, reconciliations, controls and audit ready accounting across assigned entities and accounts.
• This is the process of generating financial statements in accordance with client policies and statutory requirements.
• Activities include IFRS to local GAAP reconciliation, updating notes accounts, XBRL tagging, preparing tax packs etc.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Power BI or similar ERP, reporting and visualization tools
• Experience in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs)

• You will be given minimal instruction on daily work tasks and a moderate level of instructions on new assignments
• Manage assigned statutory reporting activities and timelines, track completion, highlight risks and communicate issues that may affect reporting delivery.
• Prepare and review accurate financial reports, financial statements, supporting schedules and reconciliations with complete supporting evidence.
• Validate data across ERP and reporting systems, investigate variances or inconsistencies, and coordinate timely resolution with upstream and downstream stakeholders.
• Develop structured commentary on financial movements, risks and trends; maintain audit-ready reporting evidence; support governance reviews and contribute to reporting standardization, automation and continuous improvement specific KPI targets
