Job summary

Accenture in India is seeking a Tax Senior Analyst to lead statutory reporting and tax compliance within the Finance Operations team. The role involves end-to-end financial reporting, data validation and preparing statutory disclosures in line with client policies and regulatory requirements.

You will work with ERP systems including SAP, Oracle, Hyperion and Power BI, performing reconciliations, variance analysis and governance-aligned reporting. 5–8 years’ experience is expected.

Qualifications

  • End-to-end statutory and financial reporting, financial statement preparation, supporting schedules, data validation and reporting controls.
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Power BI or similar ERP, reporting and visualization tools.

Responsibilities

  • Align with Finance Operations to collect operational data, perform analysis and reconcile transactions.
  • Support Record to Report processes including IFRS to local GAAP reconciliation, note updates, XBRL tagging and tax packs.
  • Prepare and review accurate financial reports and statements with supporting schedules and reconciliations.
  • Validate data across ERP and reporting systems and coordinate issue resolution with stakeholders.
  • Develop commentary on financial movements, risks and trends for governance reviews and reporting standardization.

What would you do?
  • You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions.
  • The Record to Report team supports accurate period end financial reporting, general ledger integrity, reconciliations, controls and audit ready accounting across assigned entities and accounts.
  • This is the process of generating financial statements in accordance with client policies and statutory requirements.
  • Activities include IFRS to local GAAP reconciliation, updating notes accounts, XBRL tagging, preparing tax packs etc.
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Power BI or similar ERP, reporting and visualization tools
  • Experience in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) What are we looking for?

  • Manage assigned statutory reporting activities and timelines, track completion, highlight risks and communicate issues that may affect reporting delivery.
  • Prepare and review accurate financial reports, financial statements, supporting schedules and reconciliations with complete supporting evidence.
  • Validate data across ERP and reporting systems, investigate variances or inconsistencies, and coordinate timely resolution with upstream and downstream stakeholders.
  • Develop structured commentary on financial movements, risks and trends; maintain audit-ready reporting evidence; support governance reviews and contribute to reporting standardization, automation and continuous improvement specific KPI targets
