Looking for a Manager / Sr. Manager Taxation to independently manage end-to-end direct and indirect tax compliances, assessments, and litigation for a manufacturing setup, acting as the primary liaison with tax authorities and external advisors.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct Tax: Manage computation/payment of Advance Tax & TDS/TCS; file ITRs & Tax Audit Reports (Form 3CD); handle scrutiny assessments, CIT(A)/ITAT litigation, and quarterly TDS returns (24Q/26Q/27EQ).
• Indirect Tax (GST): File monthly/annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C); manage Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliations, GST audits, departmental notices, customs, and EPR/environmental levies.
• Compliance & Audits: Maintain 100% adherence to tax calendars; represent the company before tax authorities; support internal, statutory, and tax audits; track litigation status; advise management on tax implications.

Requirements & Skills

• Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) — Mandatory.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in core Direct & Indirect Taxation.
• Industry Experience: Manufacturing background strongly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of Income Tax & GST laws; experience in assessments/appeals; proficiency in MS Excel and SAP (preferred).
