Aspiring to transform how founders manage money, Aspire is building a global financial operating system. We are seeking a tax intern to support cross-border tax activities, coordinate with teams, and leverage AI for research.
This is a 2–6 month opportunity starting Nov/Dec, open to full-time or part-time arrangements. You will work closely with the Tax Lead, gain exposure to corporate tax, GST, transfer pricing, and international tax areas across multiple countries, and develop practical skills
Founders today are building global companies from day one — but the systems that manage their money were built for a different era. Aspire exists to change that!
We’re building the financial operating system for global founders, bringing banking, software, and automation into a single platform so businesses can move faster across borders and stay focused on building.
Aspire is built by people who think from first principles, care deeply about solving hard problems, and take real ownership of their work. Our team brings global experience from leading fintech and technology companies, and many of us are former founders and operators who understand what it takes to build thoughtfully, make trade-offs, and deliver at scale in a global environment.
Backed by leading global investors including Y Combinator, Peak XV, and Lightspeed, Aspire has been trusted by more than 50,000 startups and growing businesses worldwide to manage their finances since 2018. Together with partners like J.P. Morgan, Visa, and Wise, we’re building for the next generation of global companies.
The Aspire Tax team sits at the intersection of international expansion, strategic corporate structuring, and operational scale. We act as a high-impact advisory and governance partner across all business lines, overseeing end-to-end global tax strategy, corporate restructurings, cross-border transactional structuring, and proactive risk mitigation. Our goal is to build a robust, world-class tax framework that enables rapid hypergrowth while safeguarding financial integrity and compliance.
You will directly report to the Tax Lead and work cross-functionally with other finance and business colleagues.

The intern will have a rare opportunity to gain exposure to many different countries and tax areas, including corporate tax, transfer pricing, GST, as well as international tax. In contrast to only dealing with one area of tax or being confined to 1 country.
