Job summary

Red Envelope Consultants in Mumbai (BKC) invites a Tax & Compliance Executive with 2–5 years of taxation and statutory compliance experience. You will handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, MCA compliance, RBI filings, and coordinate with consultants to ensure filings and deadlines are met.

The role requires strong communication and ability to liaise with internal teams and banks; CA firm exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of taxation and compliance experience.
• Bachelor's degree in commerce or related field (B.Com/BAF).
• Experience in a CA firm is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax and other statutory compliance activities.
• Coordinate with consultants for tax filings and assessments.
• Manage MCA, FEMA, and RBI compliance filings as applicable.
• Provide support to internal teams on tax-related matters.
• Handle bank-related activities including bank guarantees and signatory records.
• Ensure all statutory and compliance deadlines are met.
• Support any other finance, compliance, or banking-related tasks as required.

Job Title: Tax & Compliance Executive

Location: Mumbai (BKC)

Department: Finance Reporting To: Finance Manager

Working Days: 6 days a week (Alternate Saturdays Off)

Job Summary: We are looking for a Tax & Compliance Executive with 2-5 years of experience in taxation and statutory compliance. The candidate will be responsible for handling GST, TDS, Income Tax, MCA compliances, banking activities, and coordinating with consultants to ensure timely filings and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliance activities.
• Coordinate with consultants for tax filings and assessments.
• Manage MCA, FEMA, and RBI compliance filings as applicable.
• Provide support and guidance to internal teams on tax-related matters.
• Handle bank-related activities such as:
  • Bank Guarantee issuance, renewal, and closure
  • Maintaining authorized signatory records
  • Processing tax-related payments before due dates
• Ensure all statutory and compliance deadlines are met.
• Support any other finance, compliance, or banking-related tasks as required.

Required Qualifications

• B.Com or BAF degree (Master's degree is an added advantage). Experience
• 25 years of experience in Taxation and Compliance.
• Experience in a CA firm will be an added advantage.
