Job summary

iBG in Bengaluru is hiring for a Tax Compliance and Accounting support role. You will assist with GST, income tax computations, tax audits, and documentation, while also handling daily accounting and payroll tasks.

The position suits fresh graduates or semi-qualified CA/ACCA/CMA/CS with up to 3 years of experience, and requires basic Tally/Zoho Books knowledge and strong Excel skills. You will contribute to audit readiness, prepare salary-related challans, and ensure timely, accurate data

Qualifications

• Recent graduate (B.Com/M.Com) or Semi-Qualified CA/ACCA/CMA/CS.
• 0–3 years of experience; articleship in a CA firm preferred.
• Basic understanding of Tally or Zoho Books; strong Excel skills.
• Extreme attention to detail and ability to meet strict statutory deadlines.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Tax Compliance Support

• Assist in preparing data for GST returns, Income Tax computations, other tax related compliances.
• Assist with compilation of documents for Tax Audits.
• Perform preliminary research on tax laws or treaty rates (DTAA) and undertake preparation of Transfer Pricing documentation and benchmarking

Documentation & Litigation Support

• Maintain organized digital and physical tax records and permanent files for audit readiness.
• Help draft initial responses to routine queries from tax authorities.
• Collate evidence and supporting documents required for appeals or scrutiny cases.

Accounting & Payroll

• Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system (Invoices, Expenses, Payments).
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain the Fixed Asset register.
• Assist to compute monthly salaries, verify attendance data, and assist in the preparation of PF/ESI challans (India) and gratuity accruals (Middle East).

Requirement

Education Recent Graduate (B.Com/M.Com) or Semi-Qualified CA/ACCA/CMA/CS.

Experience 0-3 year (Articleship experience in a CA firm is highly preferred).

Technical Skills Basic understanding of Tally or Zoho Books; strong Excel skills.

Soft Skills Extreme attention to detail, and the ability to meet strict statutory deadlines.
