Broad outline of the Role

Purpose – Broad objective of the role

To Manage Tata Communications Private Network NoC

• Responsibility includes & not limited to

1. Ensuring the upkeep of NoC with services delivered as per the SLA, KPI & Service Window

Full FCAPS Functionality
Proactive checks for links to the Site
Shift Management
Reporting on Faults / RFO/RCA

1. eTOM based Process enablement for NoC
2. Handles NoC functions of Private Network with the help of Onsite Engineer/Customer Engineer
3. OEM Management for L3 services
4. Customer interactions & Customer Management

Key Responsibilities

1. Planning, coordinating & executing of all NoC based activities for TCL Private Network on 5G & LTE-U technology stack & Customer Applications
2. To work with business & Technical teams to ensure that Customer Networks are operational as per the technical & business requirements.
3. Ensure smooth handover to NoC from Project roll out teams
4. Plan implementation & testing of software & patches, configuration changes to be deployed in customer Network with adequate testing in Lab before GO Live
5. Closely work with Automation & Orchestration team to ensure that NoC is run with Maximum automation
6. Prepare & Manage NoC Budget & ensure the spend is as per the Budget ( AoP)

Key Requirements

Should have strong knowledge and experience on Industrial applications, IoT and M2M applications and network solutions. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience on Core RAN Edge Cloud & Applications and Network functions for 3GPP and Non-3GPP wireless technologies such as 2G/3G/4G/5G, Wi-Fi variants etc. Good knowledge on standards like eTOM. Hands-on experience on managing NoC of any wireless Network preferably 5G SA /LTE VoLTE. Should have sound knowledge and experience on planning, configuration and solution design for 5G Core network functions such as Mobility Management, Access Management, Subscriber Database Management, Slicing functions, User plane and control plane functions, Session management, interconnect with other networks, policy management, security management, etc to facilitate complex troubleshooting. Should have strong awareness on 3GPP standards, Wi-Fi standards, etc and relevant releases specifically 3GPP Rel.15,16 and incoming Rel.17 from the 5G Core networks perspective. Should have strong knowledge and awareness of 5G Standalone and Non-standalone network architectures, signalling network architecture, protocols, their elements and functioning. Should have worked on integration of 5G Core networks with 5G NR for telecom services providers and private 5G network scenarios. Should have knowledge and working experience in various scenarios of passive infra like Fiber Leased Line. Should have a strong flair for network automation and technologies such as AI/ML Cloud Native architecture, Operation of cloud native system. Should have a strong knowledge & experience on end user device, equipment, sensors, management and applications specifically from the Enterprise and Industry transformation perspective.

Minimum qualification & experience

Minimum BE-Electronics & Communications / Telecommunication Engineering / Electronics and Electrical / etc with 15-18 years of experience.
