Brief about the Team

The category team at Tata 1mg is a pivotal team situated within the category management vertical. Collaborating closely with the organization's leadership team, marketing, product as well as supply chain teams, their primary goal is to ensure a healthy top-line as well as sustainable bottom-line growth.

What will you do:

Seeking an experienced Category Manager to lead and scale our Over-the-Counter (OTC) categories

1. Core Responsibilities:

- Build a best-in-class assortment of OTC products

- Ensure competitive pricing across OTC categories

- Drive continuous improvement in customer service for OTC products

2. Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Partner with teams across procurement, product, key accounts, and marketing to achieve category goals

3. Ownership and Initiative:

- Act as the custodian of OTC categories with full ownership and a "get-it-done" mindset

What we are looking for

1. Educational Qualification: MBA from Tier 1 college with at least 3 years of experience post-MBA

2. Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the e-commerce business and landscape

3. Project and Partnership Management: Ability to drive partnerships, take initiatives, and manage complex projects and teams

4. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

5. Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, creating new systems and processes to solve problems
