Job summary

Niti Ai is seeking a Tally Expert / Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting using Tally Prime / Tally ERP, ensure GST and TDS compliance, and handle payroll processing on an on-site basis in Ahmedabad.

The role includes preparing P&L, Balance Sheet, MIS reports, and coordinating with auditors while maintaining accurate records and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Tally Prime / Tally ERP handling day-to-day accounting.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS and statutory compliances.
• Experience with payroll processing and salary accounting.
• Experience in preparing P&L, Balance Sheet, and MIS.
• Inventory accounting and stock reconciliation.
• Proficiency with Excel and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting entries in Tally Prime / Tally ERP.

• Process payroll, reimbursements, and salary accounting.
• Prepare and maintain P&L, Balance Sheet, and MIS reports.

• Ensure proper documentation and internal controls.
• Generate financial reports and insights for management.

Job Title: Tally Expert / Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting entries in Tally Prime / Tally ERP.
• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances, including timely filing of returns.
• Process and manage Payroll, employee reimbursements, and salary-related accounting.
• Prepare and maintain Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and MIS reports.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and ledger reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate inventory accounting and stock records.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities during audits and assessments.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls.
• Generate financial reports and provide business insights to the management.
• Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.

Preferred Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Tally Prime / Tally ERP.
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, Payroll, and statutory compliances.
• Experience in preparing P&L, Balance Sheet, and financial reports.
• Knowledge of Inventory Accounting and reconciliation.
• TDL (Tally Definition Language) and custom report creation will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 410 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
• Candidates with experience in fast-growing companies or startups will be preferred.
