DigitalOcean is expanding in Hyderabad, India. We are looking for a People Generalist / Talent Success Partner to join our People team. This is a contract position for 8 months (maternity backfill) with potential to convert into full time as well. As a Talent Success Business Partner, you will be reporting to the PBP Director. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of HR related duties including supporting effective execution of HR processes such as employee relations, performance management, and employee engagement. You will provide coaching and guidance to managers and senior managers to recommend solutions to business issues and act as on-ground support for people initiatives. The ideal candidate will need to be strong on execution, have deep knowledge of HR processes, and wear a strategic hat during complex people issues.

What You’ll Do

• Support complete employee life-cycle processes for our India employees including onboarding, performance reviews, compensation and benefits, engagement survey and action planning, employee relations, and off‑boarding.
• Build relationships with managers and senior managers, be a trusted resource for their needs and surface issues as necessary to the lead PBPs for rapid resolution.
• Maintain a strong understanding of people-related policies and assist with interpreting such policies and standards.
• Support the development, recommendation, and implementation of policies, procedures and process improvements.
• Own the onboarding process for India including local Hyderabad hires and remote employees.
• Manage the ongoing operational needs of managers in the APAC region.
• Support local payroll in partnership with our local provider.
• Partner with the PBP team on local communications including community events, benefits, compliance, and holidays.
• Work with local leads and the People team on employee issues.
