Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in data integration/ETL development with Talend.

• Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
• Experience implementing robust error handling, logging, and data quality checks in ETL pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Talend ETL/ELT workflows to ingest, transform, and load data.
• Build reusable Talend jobs and components aligned with scalability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define mappings, and translate business needs.
• Implement data validation, error handling, logging, and alerting for auditable pipelines.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of Talend jobs and SQL queries to meet SLAs.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive fixes to closure.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including job design, mappings, and runbooks.
• Support releases by coordinating deployments, versioning, and environment promotions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing end-to-end integration solutions including source-to-target mappings and transformation logic.
• Familiarity with scheduling and orchestration practices for ETL workflows and operational monitoring.
• Exposure to data warehousing concepts (dimensions/facts), incremental loads, and CDC-style patterns.
• Ability to improve pipeline performance through tuning, partitioning strategies, and efficient transformation design.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams and drive delivery outcomes.
