Job summary

Tekskills is seeking a Talend Data Integration Architect to lead architecture and delivery of data pipelines across on-premise and cloud environments. The role requires hands-on expertise with Talend Data Integration and Talend Cloud at an architect level, plus strong SQL and data modeling skills.

The candidate should drive Talend platform upgrades and health checks, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with customers to design scalable ETL solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Talend Data Integration and Talend Cloud (Architect-level).
• Expertise in Talend Administration (TAC | JobServer | Studio).
• Solid understanding of ETL Architecture, Data Modeling, and SCD.
• Strong SQL expertise with performance tuning for ETL and databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of end-to-end data pipelines using Talend.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce ETL best practices; mentor team members.
• Perform health checks and upgrade planning for Talend platforms including TAC/Job Server/Studio.
• Evaluate and present technical solutions to customers and stakeholders.

Job Description

• Strong hands-on experience with Talend Data Integration and Talend Cloud (Architect-level) with expertise in Talend Administration (TAC| JobServer| Studio).
• Solid understanding of ETL Architecture| Data Modeling| SCD and End-to-End Data Pipelines.
• Strong SQL expertise with hands-on experience in Database and ETL (Talend Jobs and Pipelines) Performance Tuning.
• Good troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical challenges across ETL| Databases| and Integrations.
• Capability to conduct code reviews| enforce ETL best practices| and mentor team members.
• Ability to perform POC| Design| Evaluate and present Technical Solutions and recommendations to Customers and Stakeholders.
• Experience conducting Talend TAC| Job Server| Studio| and RDP health checks
• Experience with Talend Platform Upgrades| Talend Patching activities including JavaJDK Upgrades and Compatibility Validation.
• Strong understanding of Database Security| Talend User Acces setup | Performance and operational best practices.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
• Good Knowledge of Databricks for PoC and Analysis.
