Job summary

Thakral One Pte. Ltd. in Bengaluru seeks a T24 Senior Test Analyst to lead and support testing for Temenos Core Banking systems. You will plan, deploy, and manage testing across releases, define test scope, create and execute test cases, and manage defects while ensuring quality delivery.

You will also provide BAU support and collaborate with IT and business partners to ensure comprehensive test coverage across modules and teams.

Qualifications

• You have 6-8 years of total work experience.
• You have 5+ years of experience testing Temenos Core Banking (T24).
• You have experience in defect management and full SDLC.
• You have experience testing in financial institutions or MUFG environments (advantageous).
• You have an engineering degree (Bachelor’s/Master’s) in Computing or a relevant field (e.g., B.Tech, B.E, MCA).

As a T24 Senior Test Analyst , you will lead and support testing activities for Temenos Core Banking systems. You will plan, deploy, and manage testing efforts across releases, define test scope, create and execute test cases, track defects, and ensure quality delivery. You will also provide BAU support and collaborate with IT and business partners to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Test Planning & Execution

• Build and support the T24 testing team.
• Plan, deploy, and manage testing efforts for each release or cycle.
• Define the scope of testing and ensure appropriate coverage.
• Create functional and non-functional test scenarios and cases.
• Prepare test data, execute test cases, and analyse results.
• Track defects using JIRA, clarify issues with analysts/developers, and report progress.
• Apply appropriate test measurements and metrics.
• Support SIT, UAT, and BAU troubleshooting/QA activities.
• Liaise with business analysts and developers to ensure test coverage.
• Collaborate with IT and business partners across teams.
• Prepare timely test progress reports and recovery plans if delays occur.
• Support testing of other products beyond core banking when required.

Experience

Technical Expertise

• You have knowledge of T24 retail/corporate banking modules including Arrangement Architecture (Accounts, Deposits, Lending), Funds Transfer, Payments (TPH), Teller, FX, Money Market, Loans and Deposits, Securities, Trade Finance, SWIFT, and reporting.
• You have knowledge of General Ledger, Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Miscellaneous Deals, and Non-Stop modules.
• You have Unix/Linux knowledge.
• You have experience in test automation and AI-based testing tools (advantageous).
• You have hands‑on experience with JIRA, Jenkins, Selenium, and automation frameworks.
