Job summary

Wissen Technology in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Temenos T24/Transact Developer to design, develop, customize, and support the core banking platform. You will translate business requirements into scalable T24 solutions, build interfaces with external systems, and support COB, end-of-day, end-of-month, and end-of-year processing.

The role requires strong debugging, unit testing, and coordination with COB, QA, and infrastructure teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Temenos T24/Transact development and customization.
• Proficiency in InfoBasic, jBASE, TAFJ, and TAFC.
• Experience developing versions, enquiries, routines, hooks, batch programs, and OFS interfaces.
• Good understanding of T24 architecture, data model, and COB processing.
• Experience with Java for TA FJ-based development and interface extensions.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with Unix/Linux, Git/Bitbucket, JIRA, and standard development tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and enhance Temenos T24/Transact applications based on business requirements.
• Develop and maintain T24 components including versions, enquiries, routines, hooks, batch programs, APIs, and local applications.
• Work with COB routines, Services Framework, TAFJ, TAFC, jBASE, and InfoBasic to implement core banking functionality.
• Build and maintain integrations using OFS, T24 Integration Framework, IRIS, REST/SOAP APIs, XML drivers, MQ, and event-streaming.
• Analyze specs and prepare design docs, technical specifications, and unit-test evidence.
• Perform unit testing, SI testing, code reviews, defect fixing, and performance optimization.
• Support end-of-day, end-of-month, and end-of-year processing, including error analysis and production issue resolution.
• Provide L2/L3 production support, investigate incidents, analyze logs, and coordinate fixes with teams.
• Support T24 upgrades, patching, environment management, release management, and migrations.
• Ensure solutions meet banking security, regulatory, coding, and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, QA, and product owners in Agile/Scrum.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and enhance Temenos T24/Transact applications based on business requirements and change requests.
• Develop and maintain T24 components including versions, enquiries, local routines, hooks, batch programs, APIs, and local applications.
• Work with COB routines, Services Framework, TAFJ, TAFC, jBASE, and InfoBasic to implement and troubleshoot core banking functionality.
• Build and maintain integrations using OFS, T24 Integration Framework, IRIS, REST/SOAP APIs, XML drivers, MQ, and event-streaming mechanisms.
• Analyze functional specifications and prepare technical design documents, technical specifications, and unit-test evidence.
• Perform unit testing, system integration testing, code reviews, defect fixing, and performance optimization.
• Support end-of-day (COB), end-of-month, and end-of-year processing, including error analysis and production issue resolution.
• Provide L2/L3 production support, investigate incidents, analyze logs, and coordinate fixes with functional and infrastructure teams.
• Support T24 upgrades, patch deployment, environment management, release management, and TAFC-to-TAFJ migration activities.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Temenos T24/Transact development and customization.

• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring tools, and cloud-based Temenos environments.
• Experience with T24 implementation, migration, or upgrade projects across releases such as R21-R25.
