Job summary

Deloitte & Touche GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft seeks an experienced SAP CO Senior Consultant in Bengaluru to lead Controlling implementations, rollouts, enhancements and support projects. You will gather requirements from Finance stakeholders and design solutions across CCA, PCA, CO-PC and CO-PA, coordinating with FI/MM/SD/PP/PS teams.

You will drive fit-gap analysis, test planning, and data validation while mentoring junior consultants and ensuring on-time CO deliverables in a complex

Qualifications

• 9–12 years of SAP experience with strong SAP CO background.
• Minimum 4–6 years of hands-on SAP CO experience.
• Experience in at least one SAP CO implementation/rollout project.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling.

Responsibilities

• Work as an SAP CO functional consultant across implementations, rollouts, enhancements and support projects.
• Gather and analyze business requirements from Finance and Controlling stakeholders.

• We are looking for an experienced SAP CO Senior Consultant to work on SAP Controlling implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.
• The candidate will be responsible for requirement analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, issue resolution, and coordination with business and technical teams.
• Key Responsibilities
• Work as an SAP CO functional consultant across implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.
• Gather and analyze business requirements from Finance and Controlling stakeholders.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis and prepare functional solution designs.
• Configure SAP CO solutions based on business requirements.
• Provide functional expertise across:
• Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
• Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
• Internal Orders
• Product Cost Controlling (CO-PC)
• Profitability Analysis (CO-PA / Margin Analysis)
• Cost Allocations, Assessments, and Distributions
• Planning and Budgeting
• Period-End Closing
• Material Ledger and Actual Costing
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling, including Universal Journal/ACDOCA.
• Configure and support integration between CO and FI, MM, SD, PP, and PS.
• Prepare functional specifications for technical developments and coordinate with ABAP teams.
• Prepare test scenarios, test scripts, and support SIT and UAT.
• Analyze and resolve functional defects and production issues.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support data migration, validation, reconciliation, and cutover activities.
• Participate in go-live and post-go-live/hypercare support.
• Prepare configuration documents, functional specifications, test documents, and user guides.
• Coordinate with business users, technical teams, and offshore/onshore teams.
• Provide knowledge transfer and mentor junior consultants.
• Manage assigned CO deliverables and ensure completion within agreed timelines.
• 9–12 years of overall SAP experience, with strong SAP CO experience.
• Minimum 4–6 years of hands‑on SAP CO experience preferred.
• Strong experience in SAP CO configuration and functional support.
• Experience in at least one or more SAP CO implementation/rollout projects.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling.
• Hands‑on experience in areas such as CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, CO-PC, CO-PA, or Material Ledger.
• Good understanding of Management Accounting and Controlling processes.
• Strong knowledge of CO integration with FI, MM, SD, PP, and PS.
• Experience in requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, configuration, testing, and defect resolution.
• Experience working directly with business users and client stakeholders.
• Ability to independently manage assigned CO workstreams.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• SAP S/4HANA Finance/Controlling certification.
• Experience with S/4HANA implementation or migration/conversion.
• Strong knowledge of Product Costing and Material Ledger/Actual Costing.
• Experience with CO-PA / Margin Analysis.
• Exposure to Central Finance or Group Reporting.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori and embedded analytics.
• Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud or planning solutions.
• Experience with SAP Activate methodology.
