Job summary

Deloitte & Touche GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft in Mumbai seeks a Senior Consultant for the CS&D PMO. You will drive real-time buying power checks, gather requirements from trading desks, and document BRDs to support cross-functional delivery.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate cross-functional discussions, write UAT tests, and train stakeholders when needed.
• Identify risks/issues affecting project health and communicate them early.
• Engage with stakeholders across seniority levels to drive decisions.

As a Senior Consultant in ourTeam you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Drive the transformation of client buying power (based on client available collateral) checks from manual, end-of-day processes to real-time, automated solutions across multiple trading platforms and asset classes.
• Gather and analyse complex business requirements from trading desks, credit teams, and execution platforms.
• Analyse current manual buying power calculation processes and design future-state processes for real-time buying power checks across trading platforms.
• Document detailed business specifications for the buying power utility integration. Map data requirements across source systems (Avaloq, LTV systems, execution platforms)
• Scope the Avaloq system: Work closely together with the Product Owner and other functions to ensure right granularity of requirements specification on an epic / story level.
• Translate business needs: Create models, diagrams, presentations, and other documentations that support the target audience to understand the business requirements.
• Facilitate communication at team level to create consensus on scope, design decisions, and implementation decisions. walkthroughs, and demo. Write & conduct UAT test cases and in case required, train stakeholders.
• Proactively identify risks/issues that might affect project health.
• Experience in functional analysis in area of Private Banking, Wealth Management; Knowledge and experience of banking business and its operations is a big plus.
• Establish and maintain project management standards, processes, and best practices, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt approach to stakeholder groups and different levels of seniority across the organization as well as ability to present complex problems in a simple way to drive quick and effective decision making.

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

• Knowledge of LTV (Loan-to-Value) calculations and concentration risk management. Previous experience with buying power, margin, or credit limit systems.
• Experience with API-based integrations
• Strong understanding of trading operations, client onboarding, and credit management processes
• Strong experience with Avaloq Core Platform (Modules- STEX, Credit, Client Data, MIS reports, Stock exchange, and payments); Avaloq certification is a plus.
• Previous experience working within Wealth Management, Wholesale Banking or Asset Management
• Strong understanding of the Wealth Management landscape
• Strong experience in documenting BRDs so that the candidate can contribute to drafting Business Process Change document, Policies & Procedure updates etc. from business operationalization aspect.
• Expertise in conceptual modelling, ability to see the big picture and envision possible solutions and clear ability to provide concise, precise, and managerial answers to a wide array of business-related topics.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders and manage cross functional projects.
• Previous experience with Jira, Confluence, Power BI, or similar tools
• Ability to work under limited supervision (‘self-starter’) in unstructured environments.
• Intellectual strength / flexibility to rapidly understand complex problems and rationalize these into a workable solution which can then be delivered.
• High level of drive, commitment to achieving solutions and ability to work under pressure.
• Familiarity with different delivery methodologies (particularly Agile)
• Familiarity experience articulating requirements in the form of Use Case, User Stories
• Experience working with technology teams to deliver complex solutions across multiple business areas, functions, and locations.

Experience:

• 5 to 8years of experience as a Business Analyst in CapitalMarkets projects in either Risk, Capital or Liquidity.
