Job summary

Honeywell Technologies in Chennai, India seeks an experienced Automation Engineer to work on Experion PKS based control systems across PLC, DCS and SCADA environments. You will perform hardware and software detail design, engineering, application development, testing and site loop checks, while ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards and driving small improvement initiatives.

Candidates should read P&IDs, control narratives and logic diagrams, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary

Qualifications

• BE (Instrumentation / Electronic / Electrical) required.
• Process Automation Experience 3 to 5 years.
• Honeywell System experience (EPKS OR TDC3000) – Min. 1-2 years

Responsibilities

• Has done Projects or Systems Engineering on multiple PLC, DCS and SCADA systems.
• Should be able to carry out Control system Hardware and Software Detail Design, Engineering, Application Development, Testing and site Loop Checking
• Should be able to read, Understand P&IDs, Control Narratives, Logic diagrams, etc.
• Ensure work in compliance with quality / safety procedures. Identify possible improvement opportunities and manage their implementation
