• 6+ years of experience in configuration and application maintenance.

• In-depth knowledge in one of the SaaS applications (Blackline, Workiva, Kyriba, Coupa, or Concur).
• Continuous learning across Financial SaaS apps and functional areas.
• Problem solving mindset with cross-functional impact; agile and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

About the Role

We are seeking an agile, high-performing Systems Engineer to administer and manage the Finance systems and applications supporting our mission-critical business processes. In this role, you will serve as the primary process expert in your service area, collaborating closely with developers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional technology teams to support end-to-end Salesforce business processes. Your daily impact will span enterprise application support, resolving complex technical and functional system issues, performing trend analysis to identify proactive enhancements that reduce support volume, and partnering with development teams to deliver new and enhanced functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• SaaS Applications Administration Platform Operations: Own the day-to-day administration, configuration, and optimization of key enterprise SaaS applications ( Blackline, Workiva, Kyriba, Coupa, or Concur ).
• Security & Access Control: Manage users, roles, profiles, and security settings across systems.
• Platform Health: Maintain data quality, integrity, and overall platform health.
• Vendor Releases: Manage vendor releases, upgrades, and new capabilities.
• AI Automation & Workflow Agentic Transformation: Demonstrate experience through AI/agentic workflow transformation, including redesigning processes to incorporate AI agents alongside human support engineers.
• Process Automation: Identify opportunities to automate manual business processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Automation Operations: Monitor existing automations and troubleshoot failures or performance issues.
• Data Management & Integration Data Quality Initiatives: Support data migrations, imports, exports, cleansing, deduplication, and data quality initiatives.
• Enterprise Integrations: Work with integration teams to support Salesforce integrations with ERP, marketing, middleware, and other enterprise applications.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Understand APIs and integration concepts sufficiently to troubleshoot and coordinate integration issues.
• Production Support & Troubleshooting Tier 2/3 Support: Provide Level 2/3 support for Salesforce issues.
• Problem Resolution: Analyze and resolve complex configuration, automation, data, security, and integration issues.
• Root-Cause Analysis: Perform root-cause analysis and implement preventive solutions rather than relying on workarounds.
• Release & Change Management Environment Management: Manage sandbox environments, testing, UAT, deployments, and production releases.
• Cross-Team Alignment: Coordinate with developers, QA, integration teams, and business stakeholders for major changes.
• Documentation: Maintain appropriate documentation for configurations and business processes.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 6+ years of experience with expertise in configuration and application maintenance.
• Domain Knowledge: Understanding of Record to Report and Procure to Pay process areas.
• SaaS Expertise: In-depth knowledge in one of the SaaS applications ( Blackline, Workiva, Kyriba, Coupa, or Concur ).
• Continuous Learning: Demonstrates a willingness to learn and expand expertise across other Financial SaaS applications and functional areas.
• Problem Solving & Mindset: Able to think independently and consider cross-functional and downstream impact; agile and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
