Qualifications

  • Experienced in Control Engineering - Theory and Application on complex mechatronic systems.
  • Significant experience with Mathworks toolchain (i.e., Simscape).

Job description

The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Systems Development / Control Systems Engineer with a specialization in the Vehicle Motion Domain.

Area of Responsibility

Working as a member of the Sw Squad, the successful individual will have tasks assigned / prioritised by the System Product Owner and;

  • Will be responsible for decomposing, deriving and allocating Software level requirements
  • Will be responsible for the creation of appropriate Symulink Models to deliver the defined Software requirements for the Driver Modes Master Controlller.
  • Will be responsible to for Test Case Authoring and conducting Unit Testing (inc. MIL/SIL/GitLab).
  • Will be responsible for Software quality artefact creation and review
  • Will be responsible for Bug Fix Investigation
  • Will support the creation of appropriate FuSa Documentation.

Knowledge / Experience

Essential:

Experience in Systems Engineering and requirements capture and analysis

Experienced in Control Engineering -Theory and Application on complex mechatronic systems in the Motion Domain

Significant experienced with Matlab/Simulink and Mathworks toolchain (i.e. Simscape).

Experience using TargetLink and embedded coder

Experienced with Automotive CAN bus protocols and tools i.e. CANOpen, J1939, ISO14229, ISO14230.

Desirable:

Experience with dSPACE Scalexio andtoolchain such as ControlDesk and Automation Desk.

Experience in Vehicle dynamics theory and application.
