Job description

We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Docker containerization, along with proficient knowledge in managing web applications on LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) and LEMP (Linux, Nginx, MySQL, PHP) stacks. Additionally, familiarity with monitoring tools like Zabbix, collaboration platforms such as Nextcloud, and security solutions like Wazuh is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deploying, managing, and optimizing Docker containers for various applications and services.
• Configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting web servers running on LAMP/LEMP stacks.
• Monitoring system performance, availability, and capacity using Zabbix and other relevant tools.
• Implementing and maintaining security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability scanning with Wazuh.
• Collaborating with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of web applications.
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users and teams.
• Automating repetitive tasks and processes using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
• Documenting system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Understanding and managing virtual machines, including deployment, configuration, and optimization.
• Experience with Active Directory management, including user/group administration, group policies, and domain controller configuration.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, including resource provisioning, management, and monitoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience with Docker containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker Swarm, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of web server technologies and configuration management (Apache, Nginx).
• Proficiency in database administration, especially MySQL/MariaDB.
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting systems, preferably Zabbix.
• Experience with collaborative platforms such as Nextcloud is a plus.
• Knowledge of security concepts and tools, including intrusion detection/prevention systems and log analysis (Wazuh, ELK stack).
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
