Job summary

A global automotive supplier in Chennai is seeking a candidate with strong driving skills to perform open-road ADAS validation. The ideal applicant will have knowledge of vehicle logger solutions and configuration management tools, along with a Heavy-Duty License. Candidates should be open to frequent travel and have a solid understanding of ADAS features. This role supports vehicle modification activities and requires experience in automotive testing and debugging, making it a vital position in the team.

Qualifications

• Hold a Heavy-Duty License for open-road ADAS validation.
• Knowledge of testing and debugging vehicle logger solutions.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools.
• Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform open-road ADAS validation using RADAR and Front Camera.
• Support vehicle modification activities.
• Understand customer requirements and travel frequently.
• Understand customer requirements and be open to frequent travel.
• Assist in configuration management using Doors, Core ALM, Jira.

Responsibilities

• Hold Heavy-Duty License with strong driving skills to perform open-road ADAS validation (RADAR & Front Camera).
• Understand and support vehicle modification activities.
• Understand and debug vehicle logger solution modules.
• Understand customer requirements and be open to travel frequently.
• Knowledge of CAN, UDS, CANOE, CAPL, Python scripting and support for test automation.
• Good knowledge of FC / RADAR ADAS features.
• Support issue identification and result analysis.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools (Doors, Core ALM, Toractera, Auto RTM, Jira).

Good to Have Skills

• Vehicle validation experience.
• Knowledge in flashing tools (debuggers – Renesas, Lauterbach, etc.).
• RADAR expertise is an added advantage.
• Experience with vehicle braking and Brake ECU.
