Job summary

AVIN Systems Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru is seeking an ADAS software engineer with hands-on experience in on-road and simulated testing. The role focuses on ACC, AEB, LKA, LDW, and related ADAS functions, with emphasis on perception, planning and control aspects and root-cause analysis of on-road issues.

You will collaborate with software developers and product managers, review designs, and translate technical insights into driving experience improvements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ACC, LKA, LC, Braking and steering functions.
• Familiarity with AV/ADAS functions across perception, planning and control.
• Proficient in Python for reviewing software changelists and impact.
• Ability to analyze on-road failures and root cause sw ADAS components.

• Review design documents and relate them to driving experience.
• Apply technical knowledge from past ADAS work to new issues.

Job description

Key Skills:

• ADAS feature testing: ACC, AEB, LKA, LDW, LDP, APA, BSD.
• Real time vehicle testing experience/ Simulation
• Experience with Camera, RADAR, LiDAR, Ultrasonic, GNSS, IMU sensors
• Perception data validation (object detection, lanes, tracking continuity)
• CAN, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay, UDS protocols handling & analysis
• Knowledge of ASPICE, ISO 26262.

Job Description:

Primary Skillset

1. Knowledge about ACC, LKA, LC, Braking and steering functions.
2. Basic Knowledge on AV/ADAS functions, including perception, planning, and control algorithms.
3. Knowledge of Python is expected. So that SW changelist can be reviewed and relate its impact.
4. Analyze the on road failure and root cause the sw ADAS component.
5. Collaborate with software developers and product managers
6. Capable to review design doc and basic coding understanding to relate it towards driving experience.
7. Apply technical knowledge learnt from earlier issues triage whenever new/different issues come up and avoid following only rules.

Secondary Skillset and added advantage:

1. Knowledge of sensor technologies (LIDAR, RADAR, camera)
2. Understanding of automotive standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE).
3. Automate simpler tasks like event allocation, rule based review, data gathering, kratos queries
4. Technical maturity to learn present and new features easily due to their previous ADAS work exp.
