Job summary

Keka Inc. is seeking an experienced System Architect to provide technical and architectural leadership across platform, application development, cloud, DevOps, security, and governance for a large-scale insurance technology environment.

The architect will collaborate with engineering and technology teams to define standards, review designs, guide implementation decisions, and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, compliant, and aligned with enterprise architecture principles.

Qualifications

• Experience leading architecture across platform, cloud, DevOps, and security.
• Strong design governance, standards, and pattern establishment.
• Ability to guide multi-technology ecosystems (Java/.NET/Android/iOS).

Responsibilities

• Define and govern system and solution architecture across applications, platforms, cloud, DevOps, data, and security.
• Guide development teams on architecture and design decisions across Java, .NET, Android, and iOS ecosystems.
• Provide architectural direction for GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD, and cloud-native platforms.
• Establish architecture standards, patterns, principles, and governance processes.
• Conduct architecture and design reviews and provide technical recommendations to engineering teams.
• Ensure security, privacy, resiliency, scalability, and compliance considerations are incorporated into solution designs.
• Work with security teams to embed secure-by-design and DevSecOps practices.
• Guide teams on APIs, microservices, integration, distributed systems, observability, and platform engineering.
• Identify technical risks, architectural gaps, dependencies, and technical debt and drive remediation.
• Partner with engineering, DevOps, data, security, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Mentor senior engineers and architects and provide hands-on guidance during implementation.
