System Architect / Cum Project Manager

Architect the platform. Own the delivery. Answer for both.

Location: Mumbai

We're not hiring someone to just design the system, or just run the sprint board. We need one person who owns both.

1. About The Role

We're building an enterprise-grade, multi-tenant SaaS platform for the fleet and transport industry and we need a hands-on Solutions Architect who also owns project delivery end to end. You'll make the architectural calls that decide whether the product scales gracefully, and you'll own the plan, the timeline, and the risk that get it shipped. One person, one point of accountability not a handoff between an architect who designs and a PM who chases dates.

2. What You'll Own

• Design the core architecture for an enterprise, multi-tenant SaaS platform from the ground up
• Define a scalable, modular system architecture the whole engineering team builds on
• Own end-to-end project delivery scope, timelines, resourcing, and risk as the single point of accountability
• Lead and mentor backend and frontend engineers through design reviews and sprint planning
• Own API-first development standards and database architecture decisions
• Drive performance optimization, security architecture, and CI/CD strategy
• Track project health proactively and flag risks or blockers before they threaten a deadline
• Coordinate with stakeholders and clients on status, scope changes, and expectations
• Manage cross-team dependencies and resource allocation across concurrent workstreams
• Report delivery and technical progress to leadership on a regular cadence
